SOUTHINGTON - The Town of Southington has hired a new director for Southington Public Library and The Barnes Museum.
Matthew Earls will begin his new role as director of Southington Public Library and The Barnes Museum on March 17. He previously served as library director at Jonathan Trumbull Library in Lebanon for the past five years. In this role, he will take the lead alongside the library and Barnes Museum board in the development of a new library for the town.
