Robert Ellery Clark

Robert Ellery Clark, 88, a longtime resident of Bristol, and more recently of Conway, S.C., passed away peacefully on June 8, 2021. He was born Aug. 4, 1932 in Waterbury, a son of the late Ellery Otis and Elsie Slager Clark. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Phyllis Mead Clark, children Stephen R. Clark (Danielle) of Bristol, and Nancy A. Frazer (Andrew) of Surfside Beach, S.C., siblings, Anita Linsley of Cheshire, and Herbert Clark of Clinton, Mass.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Superior Electric in Bristol in 1994 where he worked for over 30 years. He loved playing the trumpet and performing in the Bristol Brass & Wind Ensemble. He enjoyed camping with his family every summer and loved square dancing with his wife and was a member of the Central Valley Squares for many years.
