Jainchill & Beckert Attorneys at Law recently celebrated their 10th anniversary of supporting the Plainville community with a wide array of legal services.
Located at 144 W. Main St., the attorneys at Jainchill & Beckert provide legal services in the areas of car accidents, personal injury, criminal defense, DUI, workers compensation, probate and wills, business litigation and real estate.
Bill Beckert said that he and Aaron Jainchill opened their practice in July 2010. Beckert has been a practicing lawyer since 1993 and Jainchill was admitted in 1998. Together, the two bring a wealth of experience to their firm and they are complemented by a team of five staffers.
“The key to our success in Plainville is that we have worked really hard to develop connections to the community,” said Beckert. “We do a lot of volunteering in Plainville and Farmington to build a sense of trust so that people are happy to recommend us to their family and friends. We’re happy to give people advice - we’re big on free consultations. And, if we can’t help someone, we’re happy to find folks who can.”
Jainchill serves on the board of the Wheeler YMCA and at Tunxis Community College. Beckert serves on the Board of Education in Farmington. Both lawyers have coached youth sports for many years and have also been involved in local civic organizations such as Rotary, UNICO and the Exchange Club.
“Plainville is a great New England town,” said Beckert. “The people are really friendly and there is a great sense of community. It’s neighbors helping neighbors, which is consistent with who Aaron and I are. We’re grateful that we’ve been welcomed into the community.”
Beckert said that in addition to the trust factor they have built over the years, clients enjoy the fact that they are “competent, no-pressure types who allow clients to feel comfortable, relaxed and heard.”
“We let clients be the drivers of the case or matter and provide them with as much information as possible to make an informed decision,” said Beckert. “When people are confronted with circumstances that are unplanned, that they weren’t ready for, or that come out of nowhere it can be quite scary. We’re here to help and to take care of those worries for you.”
Overall, Beckert said, the firm had done well to “weather the storm” of the pandemic and is optimistic that things will get better in 2021 and beyond.
“We were still able to see clients while following health and safety guidelines,” said Beckert. “All of our staff members have their own office so we were able to maintain social distancing while continuing to function and serve clients.”
Going forward, Jainchill & Beckert is working to expand their real estate practice.
“Our staff member Jennifer Coston has been developing a solid reputation as an excellent attorney in the area,” he said.
