The UConn men's basketball team's game in Providence Saturday against the Friars has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues in the Providence program, the Big East Conference announced Thursday.

The move was widely expected as the Friars' previous game was called off, too, for the same reasons.

The league will attempt to reschedule the game, per its policy.

This is the third of the Huskies' games to be pushed back this season for COVID reasons.

UConn's next game is Tuesday in Hartford against Butler.
