Another day, another change to the UConn women's basketball team's schedule.

The school and Big East announced Wednesday that the Huskies' game at Xavier scheduled for Jan. 13 has been postponed as Xavier announced a pause to team activities due to contact tracing for COVID-19. A makeup date will be announced later.

Third-ranked UConn (6-0 overall, 5-0 Big East) saw Thursday's game at No. 6 Baylor canceled on Tuesday after Baylor coach Kim Mulkey tested positive for COVID-19.

The Big East also announced Wednesday that Thursday's DePaul at Butler game and Xavier at Villanova game were postponed. Butler will instead play at Providence on Thursday, which is moved up from Feb. 24. Xavier at Villanova has been rescheduled for Feb. 24.

The Huskies are still scheduled to entertain the Friars on Saturday at Gampel Pavilion. Their next scheduled game after that is the following Saturday, Jan. 16, against Villanova, also in Storrs. Both Saturday games start at 1 p.m.

UConn lost two non-league games in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Challenge, including a potential matchup with Mississippi State, and a non-league contest with Louisville at Mohegan Sun Arena to the start of the season when a Tier-1 individual in the Huskies' program (not a player or a coach) tested positive for COVID-19.

The Huskies defeated Xavier 106-59 at Gampel Pavilion on Dec. 19.
