BRISTOL - Tyler Arbuckle netted a game-high 23 points as the St. Paul boys basketball team defeated visiting Ansonia on Monday night, 74-50.
Also with key offensive contributions for the Falcons (11-6) were Matt Garry (11 points), Mike Palmieri (9), Darek Wiecki (6), A.J. Brooks (6), Brian Considine (6) and Seth Foley (6).
Martin Antoine scored 20 points to pace Ansonia (4-13).
Terryville 67, Gilbert 47: Evan Dorso scored 23 points and Mike Tiscia added 12 to lead Terryville to a 62-47 win over Gilbert. Adam Pelz added 10 points as the Kangaroos moved to 6-11 on the season.
Ryley Weiss led the Yellowjackets with 16 points and Dylan Crowley chipped in 13.
St. Paul 38, Ansonia 32: The Falcons started slow, but finished big in a victory on the road, netting nearly half their points in the final quarter to come from behind for the victory.
St. Paul (16-3) was led by McKenzie Gauthier (8 points), Morgan Kolb (7), Molly Hooks (6), Catherine Ciampi (6), Aidrianna Lopez (5) and Jade Udoh (4).
Ansonia (6-13) was paced by 12 points from Liz Wilson.
