Local communities continue to see a rise in covid-19 cases.

There were 43,078 tests reported by state health officials. The state’s total for positive covid- 19 cases now stands at 88,645.

There were 11 deaths reported Friday, bringing Connecticut’s coronavirus death count to 4,737.

42 new people were hospitalized with covid-19 according to the latest update from state health officials. Total hospitalizations now stand at 659.

Bristol had 1159 confirmed cases of the virus and 58 probable.

New Britain reported 2335 positive cases, with 151 probable.

Southington had 705 reported cases, with 56 probable cases.

Newington had 713 confirmed cases and 38 probable.

Berlin is up to 316 confirmed cases, with 28 probable.

Plainville has reported 318 confirmed cases, and has 21 probable.

Plymouth is up to 153 confirmed cases, with 13 probable.
