PLYMOUTH - One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after a vehicle crashed into a stone wall in the Terryville section of town.

Police, firefighters and an ambulance responded to the area of the Pol-Smak Polish Deli, at 111 Main St., shortly before 8 p.m. There, an SUV had crashed into a stone wall that sits adjacent to the deli.

The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and had to be towed.

The driver of the vehicle, who was not identified, was taken to an area hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

A portion of Main Street was shut down as crews investigated and the scene was cleaned up.
