Register to vote in Plymouth Oct. 31

PLYMOUTH - The registrars of voters will hold a voter making session on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at their office on the lower level of Town Hall, 80 Main St., Terryville. The purpose is for registration and/or enrollment of electors entitled to vote in the Tuesday, Nov. 7 municipal election.

Requests for adding names to the registry list by persons removed, changes of address, and changes of name will also be accepted at these times.

Online registration applications must be submitted by Oct. 31.

Mail-in voter registration applications must be postmarked by Oct. 31 for the applicant to be entitled to vote.

A limited voter-making session will be held Monday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. Any person who moves into town, turns 18 years of age, or becomes a U.S. citizen after Oct. 31 can apply on a daily basis until the close of the limited session.

The sole polling location for the Nov. 7 municipal election is: Terryville High School, 33 North Harwinton Ave., Terryville. The polling location will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
