Skytop Motors has served many of the Bristol community’s automotive needs since 2016, and recently, its owner has started another company to expand the services he offers.

Owner Jeremy Berube started Skytop Collision Center in August of 2020. While Skytop Motors has a full service repair shop and can service many repair needs, Skytop Collision Center is a full service auto body shop that specializes in full collision and frame repair. The company can repair cars that have been damaged in car crashes with their experienced technicians and state-of-the-art paint booth.

Berube said even though he started his new company in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic, when many local businesses were still struggling financially, he has had no trouble finding customers. Often, he has had to book appointments weeks out.

Berube said he thinks he has been able to find customers so easily because his companies are known for their customer service. Berube said he handpicks each of his employees to make sure they can serve their customers’ needs.

“Our work ethic says it all,” Berube said. “We treat customers like family, and we go above and beyond when we can.”

Employees of Berube’s companies don’t just treat customers like family - they also give back to the Bristol community. Once a year, Skytop Motors does a Christmas giveaway from the back of their tow truck, and Santa Claus gives gifts to kids in need. For Halloween, they decorate their office and invite local children to come visit so they can hand out candy.

Berube said he has always enjoyed working with cars, particularly because of the satisfaction he gets from fixing cars and making his customers happy.

“There’s satisfaction in fixing something that comes in broke, and in seeing someone’s smile on their face when they can go to work and do everyday stuff with their car,” Berube said.

Skytop Collision Center is located at 101 Park St. in Bristol. For more information, call 860-583-8236 or email
