NEWINGTON – The former Toys “R” Us building will be the new home of a Burlington Stores franchise.

The national retailer sells clothing for all ages, footwear, home décor, gifts and essentials at bargain prices.

The newest location is expected to open later this spring, at 3491 Berlin Tpke, in the Newington Fair plaza anchored by Stew Leonard’s and Sam’s Club.

This will be the company’s 13th location in Connecticut.

Employment opportunities are available and interested retail candidates can learn more online at burlingtonstores.jobs.

Burlington Stores is committed to following all covid-19 protocol. Customers and employees will be required to wear face masks upon entering the store and practice social-distancing.

The Toys “R” Us at the same location closed in 2018.
