BRISTOL – Posner, Henderson and Goslee Dentistry has been practicing in the community for 43 years and is dedicated to ensuring that patients are relaxed and comfortable as their oral health is cared for by experienced staff.

The dental practice, located at 255 N. Main St., was founded by Dr. Howard Posner and is owned by Dr. Mark Henderson and Dr. Matthew Goslee. The dentists are accepting new patients and treat children, adults and the elderly, providing pediatric and general orthodontic care as well as cosmetic service. They offer in-house sedation with nitrous oxide.

“We have several long-standing staff who have been working with patients for more than 30 years,” said Henderson. “They make sure that our patients are relaxed and comfortable and our patients are very loyal. To be here this long, we must be doing something right.”

Goslee added that the staff at the dental practice also seek to educate patients on how best to take care of their teeth and prevent problems from arising in the long-term.

Posner, Henderson and Goslee Dentistry also utilizes modern technology to provide patients with high-quality care.

“We have a new iTero Invisalign scanner which takes 5 to 10 minutes, where our older scanners would take a half-hour,” said Goslee. “It takes 3-D images of teeth which are used to fit patients with retainers and Invisalign braces.”

Henderson added that another piece of equipment used at the practice is The Wand, a computer-controlled, local-anesthesia delivery system, instead of a syringe.

“We also have a new intra-oral camera for detecting cavities,” said Henderson. “It shines a light on a tooth and is able to expose dental decay by taking high-resolution pictures.”

The practice also makes use of digital X-rays, which use less radiation and provides clearer images than traditional X-rays.

As Posner, Henderson and Goslee Dentistry continues to adapt to the changing industry, incorporating more digital dentistry, they remain dedicated to providing a friendly atmosphere and practicing pain free dentistry.

“We make patients feel at home,” said Henderson. When they come in, it’s like coming to visit a friend.”

Posner, Henderson and Goslee Dentistry is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
