Hamelin & Sons offers solid work, customer service

BRISTOL - Hamelin & Sons Inc. services all foreign and domestic trucks and cars. The Hamelin family has been repairing and maintaining vehicles since 1946, specializing in factory maintenance and keeping your car in good running condition.

Services include brakes, exhaust, tires, alignments, suspension, emissions repairs, electrical, tune ups, and scheduled maintenance.

“We have an oil change customer loyalty program. After six oil changes, regular or synthetic, you receive a free one,” said owner David Hamelin.

“We employ ASE certified mechanics and have two ASE Certified Master Technicians,” he said. “Our online vehicle computer records allow you to view your maintenance needs and invoices. Online appointment requests are also available through our website. Our office is equipped with WiFi for your convenience.”

The service station is an official State of Connecticut Emissions Testing Center. Appointments for emissions testing are available but not necessary, with testing available on a first come first served basis all day. Normal wait time is 15 minutes.

Emissions tests are cash only. Drivers must be present when their vehicle is tested, drop offs are not permitted.

Hamelin & Sons is a NAPA Autocare Center. All work is guaranteed for 12 months and 12,000 miles.

Located at 64 West St. (Route 69) in Bristol, the hours of operation are: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (for emissions only); Sunday closed.
