BRISTOL - Michael Dolce is a state champion.

Dolce shot a 36 on the front nine and a 40 on the back nine to also earn him a trip to the State Open on June 8 at Black Hall Country Club in Old Lyme. The junior will also be playing in the New England Championships on June 19 in New Hampshire.

Dolce and teammate Ryne Salius were each named to the Division IV All-State team.
