Sports Roundup: St. Paul's Kilbourne captures individual girls tennis NVL title

BRISTOL - St. Paul girls tennis player Victoria Kilbourne came into the NVL individual tournament seeking her first title.

The senior made her way through the bracket and was tasked with facing Edona Bytyqi from Wolcott High School in the finals.

Kilbourne lost the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6 and then took the remaining two sets and won the deciding third set 6-2 to be the NVL individual champion.


St. Paul 178, Watertown 196: The Falcons Ryne Salius was the medalist with a low score of 39 on the day. Michael Dolce (41) followed him with an impressive day.
