WATERBURY - The St. Paul softball team won its third straight game on Tuesday afternoon, picking up a 14-1 victory on the road over Waterbury Career Academy at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury.

Abby Poirot was sensational, allowing just three hits and one unearned run while striking out 15 batters.

Jess Persechino and Katrina Roy had three hits each of the Falcons (3-1), with Roy and Ashley Crowley collecting doubles.

For WCA (1-3), Katiana Batista hit a triple, while Taylor Wagner was the losing pitcher.
