SOUTHINGTON - Trailing by one point going into the half, the Southington boys basketball team turned things around in the second half en route to a 48-34 win over Cheshire on Monday night.
The victory snapped a three-game losing streak.
Andrew Lohneiss and Jeremy Mercier each had 11 points, as the two Blue Knights scorers in double figures.
It was a complete team effort, though, as three bench players scored for Southington.
With the quality performance against the nine-win Rams team, the Blue Knights moved to 10-6 on the season and are looking to get on a win streak as the postseason nears.
