PLAINVILLE – Police are asking the public to help them identify two suspects who stole a soldier’s wallet back in August.

The incident occurred on Aug. 13, according to a post on Plainville Police Department’s Facebook page Sunday.

A male and female broke into a vehicle parked at the U.S. Naval Reserve Base located at 1 Linsley Dr., police said. The suspects made off with a wallet containing a U.S. Navy-issued Federal Debit Card, which the suspects then used to make a purchase at a Sunoco gas station in Southington.

Video footage obtained from the store shows the two alleged thieves on camera.

Anyone with more information or who may be able to identify the suspects pictured is asked to call Plainville Police Officer Dominic Savo at 860-747-1616.
