SOUTHINGTON SCHOOLS

SOUTHINGTON – Southington Public Schools have expanded grab and go meal pick-up times.

In an effort to make the grab and go program more convenient for families with remote and hybrid learners at home, Southington Public Schools will now be serving meals to be picked up and consumed off site in the evenings at DePaolo Middle School.

Beginning Sept. 21, the school district will be offering pick up times three evenings per week. People can stop by DePaolo Middle School from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday to pick up meals. People are encouraged to use the parking lot on the cafeteria side.

On Monday, people can pick up two breakfasts and two lunches for Tuesday and Wednesday for each child. On Wednesday, they can pick up two breakfasts and two lunches for Thursday and Friday for each child. On Friday, people can pick up three breakfasts and three lunches for Saturday, Sunday and Monday for each child.

This schedule may change based on participation levels at any time.
