SOUTHINGTON - The Southington Drive-In will host its seventh annual Halloween Festival on Saturday, Oct. 26, as it closes out its season.

The Halloween Festival will be held starting at 2 p.m. at the drive-in at 995 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike. The event features haunted hayrides, pony and horse rides, a petting zoo, touch-a-truck, pumpkin painting, face painting and more.

Trunk or treating (children going from car to car and taking candy from the trunks) will be at 5 p.m. Disney’s “Coco” will then be shown as the featured film of the night, followed by the 1976 classic “Carrie.” Vehicles will be allowed to leave and re-enter the drive-in in between movies.

Several food trucks will be on site.

The Southington Drive-In is a community-owned and volunteer-operated venue. All proceeds are distributed to host civic and nonprofit groups.

Admission is $20 a carload for Southington residents and $25 a carload for non-Southington residents.
