Questions solicited for Southington candidate forum

SOUTHINGTON - The Southington Library and the Southington Chamber of Commerce are looking for questions for Town Council candidates at an upcoming candidate forum.

The forum will be held Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. at the library, 255 Main St., and will be moderated by Al Terzi, news anchor at WTIC-TV.

The candidates will not answer questions from the audience.People are asked send their questions to the library in advance, no later than Friday, Oct. 13.

Though the candidates will not answer questions from the audience during the forum, all will stay after the event to talk to interested residents.

The library will choose questions for the candidates based on the most-asked submitted questions.

Questions can be emailed to the library at smaydas@southington.org or dropped off in a container at the library.
