PLYMOUTH – American Legion Post 20 has announced two community events this weekend - a motorcycle run and chicken dinner with live music this Saturday and a television show themed Trivia Night this Sunday.

Registration for Saturday's motorcycle run, organized by the American Legion Riders Chapter 20, begins at 8:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post at 245 Main St. The public is welcome to ride along with them. Riders will depart at 11 a.m.

"It's a great time," said Keith Golnik, post commander. "They go for a 90-mile route with two planned stops along the way."

Following the motorcycle run, at 2 p.m. a full chicken dinner with sides will be held at the Post. The dinner is also sponsored by the American Legion Riders Chapter 20 and includes a live band. The dinner is $15, with proceeds benefitting area veterans.

"It's going to be a great day with good music and great food, all cooked in-house," said Golnik.

This Sunday, people can head to American Legion Post 20 for a television-themed Trivia Night. Registration starts at 6:50 p.m. and the trivia begins at 7 p.m. The entry fee for the Trivia Night is $10 per person. The winning team will take home the entire pot of entry fees. People can sign-up for teams of two to three people.

Trivia Night is held every other Sunday at American Legion Post 20, with a different theme every night. The previous Trivia Night was movie-themed.

"Our last trivia night went very well," said Golnik. "We had 28 people participating. It keeps growing every time. People always have a great time. By purchasing drinks, people can support the post. It’s also a good opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to people and tell them what we do to support the community.”
