PLYMOUTH - A Plymouth man has been sentenced to probation after sharing a nude photo of a woman he previously dated.

Wayne Raymond, 51, of 223 Mt. Tobe Road, pleaded guilty to one count of illegally disseminating an intimate image during a hearing this week in New Britain Superior Court, according to online court records.

Raymond was sentenced to a year in prison, suspended, and two years of probation in connection with the nude photo case. He also pleaded guilty in two other pending cases, court records indicate.

According to the arrest warrant, Raymond on May 27 sent a photo of a woman’s bare breast to her then-boyfriend with an accompanying text message that told the man to “put your girl on a leash.” The woman contacted police and later went to the police department to verify to investigators that the photo had been sent from a phone number known to belong to Raymond.

Although the warrant said the victim’s current boyfriend is known to Raymond, the document does not provide any context for what the text message meant.
