PLYMOUTH - A Plymouth man faces a criminal charge after allegedly sharing a nude photo of a woman he previously dated.

Wayne Raymond, 51, of 223 Mt. Tobe Road, allegedly sent a photo of the woman’s bare breast to her current boyfriend with an accompanying text message that told the man to “put your girl on a leash,” according to the arrest warrant.

Raymond faces one count of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.

According to the warrant, the victim’s current boyfriend received the photo and text message on May 27.

The woman contacted police and later went to the police department to verify to investigators that the photo had been sent from a phone number known to belong to Raymond.

Although the warrant said the victim’s current boyfriend is known to Raymond, the document does not provide any context for what the text message meant.

Raymond was charged last month and released after posting $2,000 bond. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Bristol Superior Court, where his case was continued to next Tuesday.
