PLYMOUTH - The organizers of the Classic Car & Motorcycle Show, hosted by Rite Aid, want to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the show and made a donation. All proceeds will be donated to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.

The event took place in the Rite Aid Plaza parking lot recently, sponsored by Rite Aid Terryville and the Bristol Auto Club.

Trophies to outstanding cars and motorcycles were presented by: Rite Aid, Brookfield Indian Motorcycle, the Rose Team of Williams Raveis Real Estate, Eagle Environmental Inc., Robert Dube’s Leak Proof Roofing Co., Pasquale’s Deli and Miss Connecticut 2016 Alyssa Anderson.

Nicole McWilliams, one of the organizers, thanked Scott Organek, director of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, “for coming down to show your support and gratitude.”

She also thanked “constituents, vendors, show entries, community members, and friends from all around our state” and “our generous community businesses that donated funds for CCMC,” as well as Don Clady, owner of CT Cruise News, and Lisa Fillmore, owner of The Plymouth Connection, for their help with the print advertising.

“Rite Aid Terryville Wellness Ambassador Matt Silano did a wonderful job of organizing this event,” McWilliams said. “He was grateful to other wellness ambassadors, his store manager, and all the wonderful employees for their help and support. Rite Aid is proud to be a part of making a difference in our children’s lives.”

Donations are still being accepted at Rite Aid, 8 South Main St., Terryville, she added.
