Plainville voters will be able to choose town leaders in number of municipal offices on Election Day

PLAINVILLE – Plainville voters will be able to cast their votes for who will lead the town in a number of municipal offices on Election Day.

Voting will be held from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Voters who live in District 1 can vote at Linden Street School at 69 Linden St.

Residents of District 2 will be able to vote at Our Lady of Mercy Parish Center at 19 South Canal St.

Those who live in District 3 can cast their votes at Toffolon School at 145 Northwest Drive.

Town residents who live in District 4 will be able to vote at Wheeler School at 15 Cleveland Memorial Drive.

The Republican Town Committee has endorsed incumbent town council members Kathy Pugliese, Deborah Tompkins, Jacob Rocco and David Underwood as well as challenger Joseph Catanzaro.

The Democratic candidates for Town Council include incumbents Rosemary Morante, Chris Wazorko and Jesse Gnazzo as well as challengers Quinn Wazorko Christopher, who has served on the council in the past, and Benjamin Gediman.

For the Board of Education, the Republican Town Committee has endorsed Lori Consalvo, Cassandra Clark and Rachel Buchanan. The endorsed Democratic candidates for the Board of Education include incumbents Brent Davenport and Becky Tyrell and newcomer Dayna R. Snell.

Julia Underwood is the Republican Town Committee’s endorsed candidate for Library Trustee and the Democratic candidate for Library Trustee is Patricia Fongemie.

The Republican Town Committee has endorsed Ezio Capozzi, Jr., Rick Drezek, Danny Carrier and Daniel Ciesielski as constable candidates.

The Democratic candidates for Constables include Bill Garrity, Shelley Johnson, Kathleen Michalik and Michael Verrett.
