PLAINVILLE - Police are asking for the community’s help in identifying a couple who committed a hit and run in early October.

The incident took place in the parking lot of Big Savers Wine & Spirits at 58 East St. on Oct. 6.

The female driver of a small crossover-style SUV backed into another vehicle. She and her male passenger then got out of their vehicle, spoke with the victim in the other car, said they would be back and then never returned.

Video surveillance footage shows both suspects’ faces while they were paying for their purchases in the store.

Anyone who can identify the individuals pictured is urged to call Plainville Police Officer Martocci at 860-747-1616 and reference case #21-14490.
