Plainville registrars release final vote numbers

PLAINVILLE - With the final vote numbers for each candidate tallied, Plainville saw a more average amount of turnout during last night’s election.

District 1 saw 23 percent voter turnout, district 2 saw 24 percent voter turnout and districts 3 and 4 each had 28 percent voter turnout, resulting in a 25 percent average.

The following is the number of votes received by each Town Council candidate. The seven candidates with the most votes were elected:

Kathy Pugliese - 1,745

Jesse Gnazzo - 1,672

Chris Wazorko - 1,598

Scott Saunders - 1,558

Deb Tompkins - 1,556

Rosemary Morante - 1,502

Ty Cox - 1,500

Dan Carrier - 1,451 Robert Ciotto - 1,403 Richard Ireland Jr. - 1,305

Wayne Fish - 356

John Kisluk - 144

The following is the number of votes received by each Board of Education candidate. The four candidates with the most votes were elected:

Andrea Saunders - 1,618

Nicole Palmieri - 1,595

Becky Tyrell - 1,566 votes

Kathleen Wells - 1,489

Rebecca Martinez - 1,424

Lori Consalvo - 1,419

The following is the number of votes received by each Constable candidate. The seven candidates with the most votes were elected.

Kathleen Michalik – 1,479

Ezio Capozzi Jr. - 1,426

Adam Bergenty - 1,380

Cheryl Castonguay - 1,267

Joseph Klepacki - 1,257

Roberta LaLama - 1,224

Shelly Johnson - 1,207

Joyce Schrey - 1,205

Both library trustee candidates were voted in.
