Nancy Patricia Doyle (Mudzinski)

Nancy Patricia Doyle (Mudzinski) was born on Feb. 6, 1940 in Stamford to Benjamin and Nellie (Kocot) Mudzinski. She died from Alzheimer’s on Nov. 16, 2022 at the age of 82. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and became the youngest full-time employee at ABC-TV in New York at the age of 17 and a half. After a few years she enrolled at CCSU, and upon graduation she taught business classes at area schools.

She was married for 52 years to Thomas J. Doyle Sr. who survives her. She was a devout Catholic, and a member of the St. Gregory Rosary Society. She watched the mass on TV every day of her illness. Nancy loved reading mystery stories and watching Broadway musicals. She was a Lady Husky fan.

She is survived by a daughter, Amy, a son, Tom Jr., and a beloved granddaughter, Stephanie. She leaves two brothers: Greg (Lee) and Bruce (Shirley) Mudzinski, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nancy received great care from Donna, Claudette, Marissa, Pat, Shelly, Christine, and Steve.

Luddy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There are no calling hours.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church in Bristol on Tuesday Nov. 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. Donations made be made to any of the places that Nancy volunteered at during her life:

The Zion Lutheran Soup Kitchen, and all three Bristol Catholic Schools: St. Joseph’s, St. Matthew’s, and Saint Paul Catholic High School.
