Edward 'Peton' Dumond

Edward “Peton” Dumond, 73, of Bristol, died on Sunday, (Sept. 4, 2022) at Countryside Manor.  Edward was born on May 30, 1949 in Fort Kent, ME and was the son of the late Rene and Elise (Blanchard) Dumond.  He was raised and lived in Maine before moving to Connecticut where he worked odd jobs.  He enjoyed serving as a bell ringer with the Salvation Army at the holidays. 

Edward is survived by two sisters: Dora Berube of St. John/Frenchville, ME, and Robertine Long of Presque Isle/Bangor, ME; and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers: Henry, Camille, Norman, Gilbert, Clarence, Robert, and Leonide Dumond, and sisters: Clara Gervais, Nora West, Lena Belanger, and Gertrude Szrejna.
