Dorothy (Dottie) F. Wojtusik, 89, of Farmington Station, formally of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in Enfield on May 12, 1933, she was the only child of the late Frank and Mary (Motyka) Lukasik. Growing up in New Britain and graduating from Mary Immaculate Academy (or as she referred to it as “The Academy”), she made friendships that would last a lifetime.

In her working years she was employed by the Social Security Administration as a claims representative before retiring to care for her late husband, Roman J. Wojtusik. In addition to mastering many crafts during retirement she enjoyed family gatherings, bus trips with friends, playing cards and having coffee at McDonald’s. Always the conversationalist and developing the friendship of many, you could always count on Dottie to end up knowing someone regardless of where she was.

She is survived by her children: Pauline Larson and her husband Evan of Loris, SC, Andrew Wojtusik of Bristol, Michael Wojtusik and his wife Beth of Bristol and Roman Wojtusik, Jr. and his wife Darlene of Bristol; her grandchildren: Jeffrey Wojtusik, his wife Amanda and their daughter Amelia of Brecksville, OH, Army Staff Sargent Douglas Larson of Fort Benning, GA and Philip Wojtusik of Bristol.

At Dorothy’s request services are private and have been entrusted to Funk Funeral Home. Please visit Dottie’s memorial website at www.FunkFuneralHome.com .
