Nadine (Jandreau) Taggett

Nadine (Jandreau) Taggett, 85, of Bristol, widow of Roy J. Taggett, Jr., died on Sunday (July 3, 2022) at Ingraham Manor. Nadine was born in St. Francis, ME on Jan. 27, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Victor and Isabelle (Gagnon) Jandreau.  

She was raised and lived in St. Francis until moving to Bristol 59 years ago. As a homemaker, she enjoyed yard work and cooking. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her Saturday night dancing with Roy.  She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish attending St. Ann Church. 

Nadine is survived by two daughters: Janice Ouellette and husband, Donald of Terryville, and Evelyn Daniels and Brian Pelletier of Bristol; three brothers: Hansley Jandreau of Fort Kent, ME, Nelson Jandreau of Madawaska, ME, and Calvin Jandreau of St. Francis, ME; two sisters: Mary Belle Jandreau of Bristol, and Angie Taggett of St. Francis, ME; four grandchildren: Jessica Varley, Dylan Daniels, Spencer and Haylee Ouellette; a great-granddaughter: Caitlyn Varley; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by siblings: Pat, Marvin, Verna, and Winifred Jandreau, Margie Taggett, Bella Plourde, Vina Ouellette, and Irene Martin.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (July 14, 2022) at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 215 West St, Bristol. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Boulevard, Southington, CT 06489. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol is honored to serve the Taggett family. Please visit Nadine’s memorial website at .
