Lynda F. Kanenberg, 76, of Burlington, widow of Rudy Kanenberg, died on Saturday (Jan. 8, 2022) at Bristol Hospital. Lynda was born in Bristol on Sept. 9, 1945 and was a daughter of the late James and Virginia (Chamberlain) Fetterolf.

She was very social and loved to entertain, hosting barbeques and picnics for family and friends. Lynda was a proud UCONN Alum and an avid sports fan who never missed watching the UCONN men’s and women’s basketball games or the Boston Red Sox.  Lynda loved traveling, the beach, being in the sun, and spending time with her friends and granddaughter.

Lynda is survived by her sons Matthew Kanenberg and wife, Heather of Houston, TX; James Kanenberg and her granddaughter Sophia Rose of Bristol, whom she loved to the moon and back; her cousin Jane Schaffrick, who was like a sister to her, and husband, Lenny, and the entire Schaffrick family whom she was very close to; her beloved rescue dog Cappy; as well as countless friends and extended family.
