Marie Alice Alvey

“Loving Mother & Grandmother”

Ms. Marie Alice “Rita” (Milot) Alvey, formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 surrounded by her sons, in Georgia.

Marie was born in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Deziel) Milot. She leaves two beloved sons, Richard “Rick” Alvey and his wife, Angie, of Brandon, FL, and Steven Alvey and his wife, Catherine, of Suwanee, GA, her four loving grandchildren, granddaughters, Nicole Alvey of Santa Clara, CA and Stephanie Alvey of Suwanee, GA, and grandsons, Eric and Joseph Knight of FL, her two great-grandchildren, Reese and Jaden Knight of FL., and her sister, Lorraine DeLuca of Bristol, with whom she made her home. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Rene Milot.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 at Saint

Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby Street, Bristol, CT. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church. There are no calling hours. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 669 Platt Road West, Watertown, CT 06795. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with Marie’s arrangements.
