Blanche F. Adamczyk

Blanche F. (Fecteau) Adamczyk, 98, formerly of Bristol, widow of Matthew Adamczyk, passed away peacefully on Oct. 31, 2021 at Avon Health Center, surrounded by her loving children. Born on Sept. 12, 1923 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she was a daughter of the late George and Alexina (Tetrault) Fecteau. Blanche worked for New Departure for a few short years before moving to work as a Quality Control Specialist at the former Ingraham's Company. When Ingraham's was purchased by McGraw-Edison and renamed to the Bussman Division, Blanche continued to work for the company until her retirement in 1978 after a total of 24 years.

Blanche is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law Diana Micari of Bristol, and Cathy and Raymond Crandall of Mount Joy, PA; four grandsons and their wives William and Sandy Micari, Michael and Dana Micari , Kenneth and Patti Crandall, and Daniel and Stephanie Crandall; seven great grandchildren Morgan, Nicholas, Ryan, Matthew, and Brian Micari, and Sydney and Scarlett Crandall; her cousin George Dupuis, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Armand, Roland, Francis, Ernest, and Bernard Fecteau and their wives, her sister Lucille Warner and her husband, her son-in-law Robert Micari, and many of her cousins. As the sole surviving sibling, she was the matriarch of the family.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, at St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours will be private but the funeral mass and burial is open to all. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital by visiting .
