Jane J. Logan

Jane J. Logan, 90, passed away peacefully in Farmington, Conn., after a long illness on Aug. 25, 2021. She was born in Bristol to the late William and Mary (Petro) Janke on Oct. 11, 1930 and was married to the love of her life and husband of 55 years, Howard A. Logan.

She is survived by her son, David K. Logan and his wife, Della, of Farmington; Jeffrey A. Logan and his wife, Noreen, of Southington; four grandchildren, Cortney, Chelsey, Ethan, Paul and his wife Samantha; sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Robert Schroeder; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dear friends Ruth Orr, Grace Cwiek, Anita Grover and Evelyn Page. She was predeceased by her husband and an infant son, Todd J. Logan, both of whom she is now re-united with in Heaven.

Jane attended schools in Bristol and was employed by the City of Bristol in the Registrar of Voters Office and Senior Center. She lived in Bristol nearly all her life and cherished time with her family. She was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Special thanks are extended to the administration, nursing staff and caregivers of Farmington Station Assisted Living and Dr. Aida Becker and her staff at Prime Healthcare of Vernon.

Burial will be private due to coronavirus restrictions. A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to the Sanctuary Renovation Fund, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 355 Camp Street, Forestville, CT 06010.
