Norman L. Hollis, 88, of Bristol, passed away after a brief illness on Aug. 29, 2021 at Bristol Hospital. Norman was the beloved husband of Beverly A. (Mulonet) Hollis for 28 years. Norman was born Feb. 9, 1933 in Piqua, Ohio, a son of the late Clifford D. Hollis and Sarah Marie Paterson. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University, ’55, where he was active in football and ROTC. After college he served in the United States Air Force as a pilot during the Korean War. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Beverly, son David Hollis and his wife Diane, Shari Carr and her husband Mark and their daughter Lindsay, stepdaughter Sherri Conroy and her husband Richard and their children Benjamin Dubar-Conroy (Emili), Bethany Hart (Shaun), great granddaughter Nona Hart, brother-in-law Robert Taylor Jr. (Wendy), and their children Courtney Ribeiro, Stephanie Plaza, Robert Taylor III, Christopher Taylor, and former wife Lee Hollis. He is predeceased by his brothers John C., Paul E. and Gerald R. Hollis, sisters Helen Link and Betty Webber, sister-in-law Carol Williams and former wife Pat Hollis. Due to covid, services are private. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date when it is safe for all to gather.
