Elizabeth (Bunn) DiBiase

Elizabeth (Bunn) DiBiase, 84, of Thomaston, widow of Louis J. DiBiase, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, peacefully at her home. 

She was born Sept. 27, 1936, in Bristol, daughter of the late Albert and Hilda (Larson) Bunn. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Waterbury Post Office. Betty loved duckpin bowling, Scrabble, crossword puzzles, sewing, vegetable and flower gardening and vacationing in the Amish country. She most especially enjoyed a slice of pie for dessert! But her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She leaves: her sons, Louis J. DiBiase Jr. of Thomaston and Vincent D. DiBiase and his wife Jacqueline of Oakville; her daughters, Debora Palmer and her husband Carl of Charlestown R.I. and Donna Messina and her husband Salvatore of Wolcott; her sister Jane Bodamer of Bristol; her grandson Nicholas Tamburini, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Gregory DiBiase. 

Funeral services will be held Friday 1 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville. Burial will be in Burlington Center Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m..
