Roy Michael Swiridowsky

Roy Michael Swiridowsky, 82, of Torrington, (formerly of Northfield) went to eternal rest on Saturday, June 8, 2019.  Roy was employed by Mercury Fuel Service for many years before becoming the owner/operator of Heritage Fuel Service in Terryville, before retiring. Roy was a lover of the outdoors and an avid fresh and saltwater fisherman for the majority of his life. He spent numerous hours with his family over the years instilling his love and knowledge of nature into his children and grandchildren, and those memories can never be forgotten.  He is survived by his wife of 65 years Jaqueline Lucille Swiridowsky; their daughter, Alice Swiridowsky Muckle and her husband, Edward Muckle, of Terryville; his daughter, Sandra Swiridowsky of Waterbury; his daughter, Terri L. Chabot and her husband, Edmond, of North Carolina, and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his son, Roy (Butch) Swiridowsky; his daughter, Lynn Swiridowsky; his son, Gordon Swiridowsky; his son, Mitchell Swiridowsky and his granddaughter, Alyssa Marie Brame.  Arrangements are being handled by Scott Funeral Home, Inc. of Terryville.
