Mary C. (Bugryn) Dudko, 93, of Bristol, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at her home with her sons at her side after a short illness.

She was born on Apr. 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Frank Hrynko Bugryn and Katarzyna (Baran) Bugryn of East Bristol. After graduation from Bristol High School in 1943, she worked at New Departure in Bristol till the late ’40s and the Aetna Fire Insurance Company in Hartford until the mid-’50s.

Mary enjoyed outside yard work, housekeeping and being a mother. She remained in the home to watch over her aging parents until their deaths in 1970 and 76. She dearly missed her husband of 48 years, the late Michael Dudko, since his death in 2003. Her heart was broken when she had to leave her long-time Middle Street home when the City of Bristol took it by eminent domain in 2004. She did not want for a lot of things for herself.

She is survived by her sons, Michael J. Dudko and Edward J. Dudko of Bristol; grandchildren, Jennifer Dudko of Westerly, R.I. and Denise Dudko of Boston, Mass. and many nieces and nephews.

She is also predeceased by her siblings, Frank W. Bugryn, Nellie Filipetti, Olga Filipetti and John Bugryn all of whom she very much missed.
