Bertrand E. "Bert" Gagnon, 63, of Florida, born on September 12, 1954, in Maine, raised and living his life in Connecticut, until 2017, passed away on May 28, 2018, in Florida, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bert was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid lover of independent musicians and showcased their work on his radio station Neon Music Radio. He spent his free time painting and drawing, playing pool, chess and won many tournaments. He is predeceased by his parents, Elmo and Alvine (Cyr) Gagnon. He is survived by his sister, Doris Lang of Tennessee; niece, Tammy Roy (husband, Steve) of Fla., nephew, Eric Peterson of Conn., great niece, Briana Fears of Tennessee, great nephews, Dan Usher of Connecticut, Collin Fears of Tennessee and Jayden Roy of Florida; nephew, Andrew Ringrose of Connecticut; and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, on Route 4, in Unionville, Conn. Please make any donations in Bert’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
