Linda Christolini Chamberlain of Avon and Westbrook, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 7, 2018, at age 61. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Dr. Robert Chamberlain, in 2016. Linda was born February 4, 1957, to Benny and Shirley (Parlow) Christolini of Bristol, Conn.
Besides her parents, she leaves three children and two sons-in-law, Amy and Nate Scribner of Redwood City, Calif., Nicolas Chamberlain of Boston, and Kathryn and Jake Moore of Simsbury. Her four grandchildren, Jack and Ella Scribner and Quinn and Ryan Moore, were the light of her life and they adored their Grammy. Linda attended St. Anthony School, Bristol Central High School and went on to earn her RN from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing in Bridgeport, Conn., her BSN from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, and her Master of Healthcare Management degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Hartford. During her long and successful career, she worked as a nurse, a realtor, and retired as Director of Talent Acquisition from ComplexCare Solutions. Linda and Bob lived in Simsbury for many years, raising their family there.
Linda was the heart of her family, generously hosting holidays and get-togethers for her large extended family over the years. She had a gift for creating a warm and welcoming home and was happiest surrounded by family, playing board games and sharing stories and laughter. Also surviving Linda are her siblings and their spouses, Ben and Terri Christolini, Karen and Matt Hintz, and John and Kate Christolini; along with several in-laws and 18 nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 265 Stratton Brook Rd., West Simsbury on Friday, April 13, at 11:00 a.m. Luddy and Peterson Funeral Home, 205 South Main St., New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
