Thinking over mom’s values and the ways she spent time, the four of us considered many worthy ways to honor her. She was a self-taught weaver and a woman who appreciated color and fabric. To learn, she borrowed weaving books from the New Britain Public Library.
Therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Britain Public Library, 20 High St., New Britain, CT 06051.
Carlson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
