It is with much sadness that the family of Dolores (Duran) (Bouchard) Albert shares of her passing on Jan. 23, 2018.

Dolores, affectionately known as Dee, was born on Feb. 25, 1933, in New Britain. She was the daughter of Charlotte (Muse) and Anthony Duran.

Dee was a very compassionate person and always showed that compassion to her family, friends and the many people she encountered in her nursing career. One of her proudest moments in her life was when she received her LPN license. She enjoyed being a nurse, working at the Bristol Hospital and for several OBGYN offices in Bristol.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Colbert of Plainville, who she lived with for over 24 years, Cheri Duquette and her husband, Paul, of Bristol; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Duquette, and fiancé, Eric Neumann, of Canton.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Paonessa, Eleanor Schack and June Sardelli.

Dee was very devoted to her family and taught us all the meaning of unconditional love. Mom we love you and will always hold you in our hearts.

There are no calling hours and burial will be private.

Donations in her name can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.

The family would like to thank all the staff at St. Francis Hospital, your help was such a comfort to us.
