William H. Robson of Terryville passed this life on Oct. 2, 2017.

He was born in England in 1928 and immigrated to the United States in 1968 to work as a machinist at Am Cam for 15 years before retiring from Drill-Rite in 1994.

He leaves his wife, Peggy Robson, of Terryville; daughter, Susan Taylor, of Toronto, Canada; stepdaughter, Mandy Bates, and son-in-law, Kenny, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and his stepson, Michael Robson, and daughter-in-law, Donna, of Avon; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Throughout his life he enjoyed golfing, horseback riding, traveling and complaining at every restaurant he ever ate at. All joking aside, his family was everything to him and he raised his stepchildren as if they were his own. He will be sorely missed.

We would like to thank the Madore family for their love and support. Also special thanks to the Bristol Home Care and Hospice team, Julie, Tammy and Marlene.

Wherever you are Bill I hope that it’s a gorgeous day. A comment he made every morning.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Abbey Cremation Service, Rocky Hill.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
