Dolores A. (nee Zyber) Massicotte

Dolores A. (nee Zyber) Massicotte, 84, of West Chester, Pa., passed away peacefully on Aug. 5, 2017, surrounded by her family.

Dolores (Dolly) was born in Michigan and graduated with a nursing degree. She was the daughter of the late Casimer and Ann Zyber. She later moved to Bristol, then to Exton, Pa. and later moved to West Chester, Pa.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Massicotte for 20 years, who passed away in 1977 and mother to Daniel (Mary Jo), David (Taryn), Andrea (Chris) Potter and the late Marianne (Tim) Schwer.

She was also survived by nine grandchildren, Michael Massicotte, Christina Simon, Megan Horner, Alex Schwer, Christopher Massicotte, Erica Schwer, Marissa Mullins, Lisa Potter and Sara Potter; three great-grandchildren, Makayla, Reagan and Chase Simon; dear sister to Rosalie Stumm, Stephanie Janowski and David Zyber; along with many nieces and nephews.

Dolly was employed at Johnson Matthey, West Chester, Pa. as a nurse and later worked at Chester County Orthopedics. Her hobbies included reading, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an organist at St. Ann’s Church in Bristol for many years before moving to Pennsylvania.

A funeral Mass will be held in Bristol on Sept. 16 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Bristol.
