Elizabeth (Brown) Dumais, 39, of Vernon, loving wife of Andre F. Dumais, passed away on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at her home.
Born in Bristol, the daughter of William Brown of Bristol and Beverly (Waldron) Brown of Bristol, she grew up and lived in Terryville and East Hartford before moving to Vernon four years ago. She was a graduate of Terryville High School, Class of 1996. Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree this May from Central Connecticut State University, and she was extremely proud of her accomplishment. She was employed by the Hartford Insurance Company for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her two children, Reagan and Quinn Dumais; two step-children, Jori and Abegail Dumais; her brother, Benjamin Brown and his wife, Katie, of Wash.; her paternal grandfather, Richard Brown; her niece, Madison Brown, and her step-mother, Gia Brown of Bristol.
Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at 10 a.m. directly at St. Rose Church, 33 Church St., East Hartford. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
