Beata (Fazio) Cefaratti

Beata (Fazio) Cefaratti, 83, wife of Donato Cefaratti, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2017, in Farmington after a brief illness.

Beata was born Oct. 11, 1933, in Ferrazzano, Province of Campobasso, Italy, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Teresa (Carlone) Fazio. Beata lived in New Britain before settling in Farmington. She was a retiree of Stanley Works, member of St. Ann Church and member of the Campodipietra Society. She enjoyed crocheting and spent most of her time cooking and will be remembered for her matriarchal role in the family. Besides her husband Donato, Beata will be dearly missed by two sisters and spouses: Maria and James Dieli and Anna and Emanuel Dieli; and two brothers: Angelo Fazio and his wife Anna and Lorenzo Fazio and Elsie Paonessa; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister; Filomena Fazio Grosso, and a brother, Carmine Fazio.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 9 a.m. at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
