Barbara Ann (Radun) Davis, 79, of Bristol lost a battle with cancer and died at home Sunday, June 25.

She was born in Plainville to Herman and Lorraine Radun. She went to Plainville High School. She married Thomas Davis and moved to Bristol.

Barbara was employed by New England Clock and Hildreth Press prior to becoming owner of Victoria Cone in the Bristol Center Mall. Barbara loved to crochet and make crafts but her passion was drawing and painting. She also was a big fan of Neil Diamond.

Barbara is survived by a son, Alan Davis of Bristol; three daughters, Diana L. Doughty and husband, Doug, from Plainville, Tracy L. Schwab and husband, Eric, of Bristol and Cindy J. Davis of Bristol; three grandchildren, Dana Johnson of Plainville, Erica Schwab of Florida and Taylor Doughty of Plainville.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Herman and Lorraine Radun of Plainville; sister, Jean Sonstrom of Bristol; brother, Donald Radun of Plainville; two nieces, Sandy Armstrong and Lori Sonstrom of Bristol; and her ex-husband, Thomas Davis.

There will be no calling hours or services. Private services will be held by the family.

Abbey Cremation Services will be in charge of the interment.

The family would like to thank Bristol Hospital Hospice for the care given to their mother.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
