Lillian (Cook) Mendelsohn, 93, of Terryville, widow of James L. Mendelsohn, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Ingraham Manor, Bristol.

Lillian was born May 28, 1924, in Bristol, daughter of the late Alexander Cook and Stella (Krajewski) Cook Dlugokenski. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the former O.Z. Gedney Co. of Terryville. She was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church, Terryville.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda M. Mendelsohn of College Park, Md. and Carol Mendelsohn of Jamaica Plain, Mass.; her grandchildren, Daniel James Greening, Rebecca Greening and Natalie Greening; and her great-grandchildren, Mario Bailote and Estella Bailote, all of Massachusetts.

A private service and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville is assisting the family with arrangements.
